The 2025 Surrey Rugby Quins Cup Finals are the highlight of the season for young players in South West London and Surrey. The finals kicked off on Tuesday with Elsa Willemsen refereeing the U14 Girls Final. Assisted by Toby Gregory and William Morgan, Elsa managed an intense physical game between the two teams with the combined team of Reeds Weybridge/Weybridge Vandals/London Irish taking home the cup. This was followed by the U16 Girls match between Wimbledon and Old Reigations. With the assistance of Annie Hopper and Robert Jenkins, Morgan Softley oversaw a tight match that ended in equal points, with Old Reigations taking the win with the greater number of tries.

Wednesday started with the U15 Boys Final between Esher and Old Reigatians, refereed by Josh Dolling. Aided by Ben Major and Oliver Shaw, Josh manged the game well with Old Reigatian walking away the winners. Tom Redfern lead the team of 3 including Morgan Softley and Louis Line-Richard in the U16 Boys final. A repeat of the U15 final from 2024, both Wimbledon and Battersea Ironsides were out to prove themselves, but Tom kept control of the game with Wimbledon walking away with victory.

The heat turned up a notch on Thursday for the U18 Boys final between Guildford and Rosslyn Park. Natalie Gregory stepped up to the occasion with great control of the game and some cracking one-liners to keep the players in line. With the game being live streamed, the team of 3 including Morgan Softley and Josh Dolling showcased the YMO programme perfectly.

Friday night saw Morgan Softley step into the middle for the U18 Girls final which was also live streamed. With the help of Tom Redfern and Elsa Willemsen, Morgan refereed an intense battle between two well drilled teams in Guildfordians and Worthing. While there were some excellent  line breaks and defence from Guildfordians, Worthing came out on top.
