I hope you are all enjoying the nice summer weather that has graced us.
As you will all be aware, from next week the new Tackle Height laws come into force and we will be expected to referee to these standards from 1st July.
With this in mind, please find below the details of an out of season Central Meeting, specifically dedicated to the new Tackle Height laws (and an excuse to meet up over the summer).
Date: 13th July 2023, meet at 6:30pm for a 7pm start
Location: University of Westminster, Marylebone Road

In addition, we will have follow up sessions across the regions prior to the beginning of the season, and of course this will be again covered in the Annual Conference.
For those who have appointments for 7's competitions prior to the 13th July, we've not forgotten you. We will send you directly training material and provide an opportunity to discuss with me or Simon Dodd in the coming days. Of course there is access to the Tackle Height hub (link above), the Referee managers on the day will also provide a specific tackle height briefing. And should any concerns remain please speak to me or Simon Dodd directly.
SAVE THE DATE: The Annual Conference will be taking place again this year - on the 3rd September. The agenda is taking shape nicely. Recognising that this is close to the beginning of the season, we will also be sharing a series of other season preparation topics in advance.
Look forward to seeing many of you over the summer, and as an extra incentive for those attending the 13th July in Marylebone, we'll plan to have a few drinks afterwards also in a nearby establishment.
