Essex U16s Golden Boot Tournament

Team of 3 for the Plate Final: Matt Horne, Reece Roper, and Tom Holland

On Sunday a team of six North region officials (including one YMO) took charge of the annual Essex U16s Golden Boot Tournament at Brentwood RFC.

Organised by U16’s parents for several years now, the tournament has become an integral part of the age-grade calendar.

A rare sunny October day saw some spectacular rugby, with exceptional sportsmanship exhibited by all involved (players, coaches, parents, and of course, our referees!)

Congratulations to Brentwood on a hard-fought victory, and thank you for hosting as always.

We are looking forward to next year’s event already.

Reminder of April Central Meeting and General Meeting - Wednesday 15th April

Members are reminded of our April Central and General meeting that takes place in 2 weeks. which will be held at SCI 4-15 Belgrave Square, London, SW1X 8PS.

We have a surprise speaker lined up who will talk about decision making in the hottest of political environment and resilience in the face the criticism. It would be great if we could get a good turnout for them. More on this to follow....

The General Meeting will confirm and ratify the recent elections and changes to the constitution.
