LSRFUR Annual Conference 2026

On September 6th 170+ LSRFUR members came together for the Society's Annual Conference; a brilliant day of learning, development, and connection.

From committee updates and society housekeeping to breakout sessions covering decision-making under pressure, personal development, referee-specific skills, training strategies, and the new England Rugby eLearning (see Development Resources), there was something for everyone.

We also heard from LSRFUR and Premiership referee Joe James about the journey, the challenges along the way, and the importance of remembering that rugby is about more than just the game - it's about influencing people, making friends and continuing to smile.

Thank you to all who attended, organised, and spoke at the conference.
