The annual society dinner will return to the Millennium Gloucester Hotel on 13th November 2025. Start time 6:30 pm

Guest speaker Geordan Murphy, a former Irish rugby union player and coach. A skilful fullback, he won 72 caps for Ireland, 2 for the British and Irish Lions and spent his entire club career with Leicester Tigers, winning multiple Premiership and European titles. After retiring, he moved into coaching, later serving as Leicester’s head coach and director of rugby. Geordan will share insights on the game. Enjoy a three-course meal, engage in meaningful conversations, and connect with others who share your passion. Dress code for the evening will be Black Tie and will start with a drinks reception from 18:30, then dinner at 19:30.
This year, to encourage take up and recognising the pressures on finances, there is an early bird rate of £45, discounted to £35 for members aged 24 and under for a three course dinner and coffee. This discounted rate will run until midnight 31st August (Conference Day), at which point it will increase to £55 until Tuesday October 15th and £65 thereafter. For the 24 and under tickets, this remains at £35 until 2nd November.
2 Drinks vouchers are also included that must be printed and presented at the dinner to redeem. Ensure you add these to your order.
To book your place please follow the link below. Along with payment you will be able to specify any dietary requirements or food allergies.
Additionally, you will be able to state any seating preferences at point of booking. Group bookings are welcome and groups will be seated together. However, there will be a conscious effort to seat all members with their peers in an informed manner (Region, Levels, etc.). This will also include dedicated tables for the 24 and under members and guests.
The last date for booking - together with full payment - is Saturday 2nd november.
